Anonymous began life as part of Hidden Faces Passing By, but as a result of its deeper level of abstraction and thus, its anonymity, it seemed more appropriate for it to be a collection in its own right.
on those days we feel unworthy, unloved, insufficient and deficient, we should seek out those who love us, for it is they who are able to show us that we are in fact, complete.
These images are created by moving the camera to capture a moving human being and so many factors play a role in capturing the unique image no one, including me, could ever recreate. And that's the point. All of us are imperfect creations made up of many different factors and we are all different versions of ourselves in different situations. To be whole and perfectly formed isn't necessary. We must realise and accept that whatever form we take, it is enough. We are unique and we ARE ENOUGH!
merging into mum
he heat is blistering and the light blinding. I sit in full sun wondering how long I’ll be able to stand it but this is my spot and I’ve driven 40 mins to be here so I’m staying. It’s so bright that I know all but the darkest of colours will disappear against the white wall, so I must be patient. I see a blond lady in a dark dress and a dark haired young girl on her other side. I get the shot. Later I see that the young girl’s face is just far enough forward to blend perfectly into her mum.

He stood and waited his turn at the ice cream stand. 10 mins later he passed by with a huge ice cream - the king of the cones. 50m past where I sit, the pedestrian zone ends and many people turn back and pass me again. This was no exception. Usually the passing is uneventful but not this time. I lined up a shot but a child on a scooter rode between us and only just missed him. He jerked out of the way, his ice cream toppling out of his hand and onto the floor. I caught his outstretched hand.
